Darel Long’s Pronouncement Subscriber Update
Some significant changes are coming soon; your current subscription level will remain the same, or you can choose to support my work.
Amid major medical events, there have been months where I have posted very few articles, and yet my list of subscribers has grown. I noticed during my absence that my subscribers grew from many shared articles, and a small political blog that leans libertarian posted some articles my subscribers grew at that time while I was in the hospital, and I’m gracious for the interest.
As a writer, I’ve learned the complex art of writing short articles and thus conveying essential subjects, and at times some pieces may be average or more significant in length. At one time, I hosted my radio show and had to fill an hour time slot: thus, it’s been a difficult transition from radio to writing.
I’ve delayed any announcement to implement a small fee for my newsletter until my health improves, and though I’m not hiding my articles behind a fully paid model, I will provide free and paid options.
If you wish to support my work, you will soon have the option to help support my work with a small monthly fee, yearly, or founding member.
Providing a paid newsletter will help me hire a research assistant and an assistant who will help build social media connections.
Soon the newsletter will have a podcast option, and I will expand to YouTube and other video platforms.
Another reason to provide options for Free and fees to support my work coincides with a Substack feature which they title “boosted,” meaning they can help market my newsletter to increase readership for both free and paid subscribers, which allows me to expand the essential articles I post.
Again, your subscription can remain free, and you can choose to support my work.
Please help share my articles, and please link to my articles.
Kindly note that as a writer, it’s my quest to provide thought-provoking articles in support of life, liberty, and freedom. I’m often at odds with mainstream conservatism, which means you will find my support in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. In contrast, others present blind loyalty to a political party or man, whereas I will question and challenge.
Love is the greatest defender,
