Covid series: Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) keeps her word and ends Covid-19 former orders

Today I was proud to sign an executive order terminating five existing orders on COVID. In Arkansas, we will not have mask or vaccine mandates. We will not shut down churches or schools. And we will move beyond COVID. I stand for freedom and it’s time to get back to normal.

On Friday January 13, 2023, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed an executive order to end the five remaining Covid-19 orders.

Her executive orders terminated Covid-19 executive orders.

Listed in order of occurrence:

• Effective March 30, 2020, Executive Order No. 20-11, created Arkansas Coronavirus Aid Relief, and Economic Security Act Steering Committee

• Effective April 13, 2020, Executive Order No. 20-17, created the Governor’s Medical Advisory Committee for Post-Peak Covid-19 Response

• Effective April 21, 2020, Executive Order 20-21, created the Governor’s Covid-19 Testing Advisory Group

• Effective May 26, 2020. Executive Order 20-28, created the Governor’s Covid-19

  Technical Advisory Board

• Executive Order No. 20-50, created the Governor’s Covid-19 Winter Task Force

Our republic is strengthened by Gov. Sarah Huckabee’s action. While the above shows positive action, it should always point out the positive and negatives, especially if Gov. Huckabee Sanders begins to wabble with a constitutional mindset.

Her next step must be to promote the Tenth Amendment to help nullify federal tyranny. Let’s hope she does.
