The Migration to DarelLLong.com domain

Minor issues persist and video posts are coming soon.

Hi there:

The recent changes to migrate my Substack newsletter, formally titled Long Pronouncement, have recently merged with my custom domain known as DarelLLong.com, also known as Perspectives with Darel Long.

I’m currently seeking a logo design and will introduce the logo soon.

I’ve previously listed some challenging issues with my former domain registrar, and even though conflict with Epic.com was noted overall, the conflict with Epic. com inspired a better idea.

Over the last four days, my newsletter has been down, which is no fault of Substack but a rather complicated issue with the registrar who houses DarelLLong.com, and it is now fixed. I’m thankful for the Substack support staff who brainstormed ideas that helped me work with the registrar of DarelLLong.com.

Currently, two minor issues remain. The first one still imports my former newsletter, LongPronoucment, with email notices from new posts, and I have to update the payment processor, and both issues will soon be updated. Since the site has been down, there was no possible way for me to address the final changes.

The migration to my domain should have taken no longer than 2-4 days, yet with the many obstacles; it’s taken me over a month to reach the finish line.

Since the website has been down, I’ve dedicated time to learn video editing software and will add a video announcement with an article. The first will be launched this coming July, and I’m sure you will enjoy the information.

I will be writing and producing my video posts; sooner than later, I will also write the background music for the broadcast and use piano, classical guitar, and slide guitar as the primary background music. I plan to add music towards the end of this year.

Today I completed my first video, and in its current edited form, it is 3:47 minutes long and took me four hours to complete. Hopefully, I can complete a similar-length video in less than two hours. I may or may not use this video as my first video release.

Addiontallly I’ve been busy establishing social media accounts that reflect DarelLLong.com and will share more about this endeavor very soon.
